How We Build & Manage Redwood Neighborhoods
Redwood’s unique approach to building and property management is part of what makes the Redwood experience so different. Our teams are involved with every stage of a neighborhood’s development and management—from land acquisition through construction and on to the management of our neighborhoods. Redwood believes that every resident deserves the best, and the way we can achieve that is by ensuring our high standards are met or exceeded at each stage of the process.
The Redwood Neighborhood Life Cycle
Discover the signature Redwood approach to building and managing single-story apartment neighborhoods across the suburban landscape.
Step 1: Find and Purchase Land
The land for each Redwood Neighborhood we build has to meet certain specifications. When we look for a piece of property, we make sure it meets certain standards, like its location, how many acres it offers, and more. Want to find out more about the Redwood land acquisition process, or sell Redwood a piece of land?
Step 2: Gain Equity Partners
After Redwood has purchased a piece of land for the next Redwood Neighborhood, it works with investors to raise equity. These investors participate in the Redwood Equity Program and may receive disbursements from their involvement with a Redwood Neighborhood. Step 3: Build the Neighborhood
Redwood works with municipalities, local vendors and general contractors to bring each new neighborhood from concept to reality. The Redwood construction process is unique in the fact that our teams manage each step of the process, and work hand-in-hand with each stakeholder so our high standards for quality can be met or exceeded at every Redwood Neighborhood.
