We Are Redwood

A Remarkable Employee Experience
We pride ourselves on not only providing a remarkable experience for our residents, but also for our employees. Part of what makes us successful is our dedication to open feedback. At scheduled intervals, we survey our employees and ask for honest feedback about what we can do to improve our employee experience, plus we always have an anonymous survey available for our employees to use to provide suggestions to our leadership team.
Thanks to that feedback, we’ve received several certifications and awards.
Read more about our employee experience awards on our Newsroom page.

We believe we have the best employees in the industry, and the best way to continue this track record is to invest in each employee’s development.

Benefits That Matter
We believe we have the best employees in the world, and because of that, we want to make sure they have the best work life, and work-life balance, we can provide. The Redwood Advantage is about more than building apartment homes, it’s about taking care of our people — resident, employee, or somewhere in-between.
We truly value our employees, and that’s why we do our best to offer not only competitive pay and benefits, but also a few extra perks to show how much we appreciate hard work.

We also pledge to support our Redwood Ambassadors by contributing to the charitable causes that matter most to them.
Redwood Cares
2025 Annual Giving Initiative
Redwood is a company that is committed to service at our core. Service to all Redwood Ambassadors—whether they work at Redwood, help us realize our mission and vision in another way, or live at one of our neighborhoods—service to our communities, our environment, and more. In 2022, we launched a new charitable giving initiative benefiting the organizations our Redwood Ambassadors care about most. We asked our employees, our residents, and our investors to nominate worthy organizations for partnership during 2025 - 2026.
We asked our employees, our residents, and our investors to nominate worthy organizations that they are passionate about. Each nominator submitted an essay detailing why Redwood should partner with their organization of choice. We partner with the Northern Ohio Apartment Association to select the winners, so we may ensure an unbiased selection process.
The Nominations
Each employee, investor, or resident nominator submitted an essay detailing why Redwood should partner with their organization of choice, and they submitted it for review by the Redwood Cares selection committee.
The Selection Process
This group of Redwood Ambassadors was tasked with scoring each nomination on its structure, story, creativity, and how well it delivered on its message. These numerical scores were tallied for all the entries, and the top organizations were chosen based on the highest scores in each category. If there was a tie, the committee used a random number generator to choose the winning organization.
The 2025 Redwood Cares Chosen Charities
We were overwhelmed by the moving nominations submitted in every category, and we are proud to showcase the charities Redwood will be supporting throughout 2025 - 2026.
